JOURNAL ENTRY

Hello Edu's Community, I'm Edu! Today is August 12th, 2025 on a Monday. This week I had lots and lots to do, so let's get straight into it!

This week I went to a local coffee shop to have a quick hang session with a friend of mine, The friend in question is pastor at a church I volunteer for. We meet each other every Sunday service anyway, however we like to grab quick morning coffee on our days off too. Anyway, The coffee shop we went to was absolutely gorgeous! It was built inside an old heritage house which gave a cozy "grandma's house" type of vibe. The coffee it self was good too, I got an iced latte with oat milk and my friend got a iced americano. After our coffee meeting we walked along the street to get to this quaint little grocery store/bakery/cafe. This was also built inside of an old house, they had stuff like cookies and teas, plus some sweets like ice cream and other general items, my friend got chocolate cookies, baked fresh for his kids. After that we said our goodbyes and I was left to my own free will to see what I was gonna do for the rest of the day. I had a haircut scheduled that same day, but I still had time to kill so I decided to look around the area. I've been to that area before however, I usually just get coffee and go back home.

First interesting thing I noticed was a new juice shop that had opened up, It was built inside of an old church house which was pretty cool, The inside decor wasn't bad either as they still had an old bible on display and other religious texts to Incorporate the building's history.

I got a drink called "am I dreaming" It was pretty expensive for a smoothie but it looked pretty cool!

Next thing I did was visit the town's library. Much like the juice bar, the building itself was very gorgeous and the staff were very friendly, I even had a very pleasant conversation with the front desk as soon as I walked in. I haven't been to that library before so I decided to check out a new library card, one more added to the collection. Exploring the library a bit more I found that they had a seed library to which I helped myself to some growing beans.

So this weekly journal is a bit late and also I'm getting kinda lazy with it, so I'm gonna leave it here. I still have lots to talk about, so I'll prob make a part two. Well that's it for now folks, thanks for reading and have a wonderful rest of your day/night, Cheers! <3
